Following an apprenticeship as a carpenter, and her Diploma in architecture, Jutta Rentsch Serpa worked in international offices such as Mecanoo, Peter Gluck, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Gerkan, Marg & Partner. In 2010 she co-founded ja-project, a studio for architecture and 3d visualization, based in Lisbon.
In addition to her international work as an architect and interior designer, she co-founded the lecture series POST2000talks, which discussed innovative global design approaches. Since 2014 she works as a project manager at Patzschke and Schwebel Architekten, Berlin, where she realised numerous residential projects in Charlottenburg and Dahlem. The interdisciplinary engagement in architecture is an essential aspect of her professional motivation.
