She has recently completed a postgraduate certificate in higher education and become a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. Her pedagogical pursuits include the exploration of innovative practices in teaching and learning, curriculum internationalisation and embedding employability into higher-education teaching agenda. Prior to joining Berlin International University of Applied Sciences, she worked as a lecturer at Coventry University and as a business executive in the UK pharmaceutical industry.
